Ruptela manufactures a comprehensive range of GPS tracking devices organized into three segments: Basic (entry-level asset tracking like the Eco4 series), Smart (mid-range fleet management devices like the Plug5 and LCV5), and Advanced (professional-grade trackers like the HCV5 and Pro5 with tachograph integration, CAN bus reading, and advanced I/O capabilities). We also offer accessories including temperature sensors, Bluetooth beacons, and identification readers.
Installation complexity depends on the device model. Plug-and-play devices like the Plug5 connect directly to the vehicle OBD-II port and require no wiring. Professional-grade devices like the HCV5 need to be connected to the vehicle power supply, ignition line, and optionally to CAN bus or 1-Wire interfaces. We provide detailed installation manuals for every product and offer installer certification training for our partners.
Our devices support multiple connectivity technologies depending on the model: 2G (GSM/GPRS), 4G LTE Cat 1/Cat M1, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. All devices include GNSS receivers supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou satellite systems for accurate positioning worldwide. Data is transmitted using our optimized FMB protocol or standard MQTT for easy integration.
Yes. Ruptela devices are compatible with all major fleet management platforms including Wialon, Navixy, GPS-Trace, Flespi, GPSWOX, Traccar, and many others. Our devices communicate using industry-standard protocols, and we provide comprehensive codec documentation and integration guides. Our technical team also offers direct integration support for custom platforms.
Our devices carry CE, E-mark (E13), RoHS, and REACH certifications for the European market, FCC and IC certifications for North America, and various regional certifications for other markets. Specific models carry additional certifications such as ATEX for hazardous environments and ADR for dangerous goods transport. Check each product page for its complete certification list.
Our Advanced segment devices (HCV5, Pro5) support remote tachograph file download over the air. The device connects to the vehicle tachograph via the D8 connector, reads DDD files (driver card and vehicle unit data), and transmits them to your fleet management server. This eliminates the need for drivers to manually download tachograph data at the depot, saving time and ensuring compliance with EU Regulation 165/2014.
All Ruptela GPS tracking devices come with a standard 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. Extended warranty options are available for volume partners. Our RMA process is streamlined with advance replacement options to minimize fleet downtime.

TrustTrack is Ruptela's own cloud-based fleet management platform. It provides real-time vehicle tracking, trip history, fuel monitoring, driver behavior scoring, geofencing, maintenance scheduling, and comprehensive reporting. TrustTrack is available as an option for partners who want a ready-made software solution alongside Ruptela hardware, or for end customers who prefer a turnkey fleet management system.
